PepsiCo sets up Lifewtr point of sale in the United States | Beverage Industry News

PepsiCo has opened a store in an American airport dedicated to the Lifewtr bottled water brand.
Lifewtr Lounge sells a range of PepsiCo snacks and drinks
The âLifewtr Lounge,â which opened this month at Philadelphia International Airport, sells a line of Lifewtr products and provides international travelers with a space to relax, PepsiCo said. Inside the living room are a number of works by Philadelphia artists.
The new lounge is located in Philadelphia Airport’s A-East security checkpoint, which accommodates international flights. A range of PepsiCo drinks and snacks are on sale in the store, the company said.
Air passengers are more used to seeing spirits brands taking over airport stores, although the Global Travel Retail channel has been severely affected by the coronavirus pandemic. A Lifewtr spokesperson did not respond to a question from Just Drinks regarding other Lifewtr Travel Retail activations.
PepsiCo expanded the Lifewtr portfolio this year: In March, the brand owner launched Lifewtr Immune Support, which targets consumers looking to boost their immune systems.
