KBC to broadcast all Afcon 2019 matches live ▷ Tuko.co.ke
The Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) has acquired the exclusive territorial free broadcasting rights for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) which is due to start on Friday, June 21 in Cairo, Egypt.
The biennial tournament will now be available to Kenyans and will not only be broadcast on Channel One, but will also be broadcast live on KBC’s subsidiary and vernacular stations.

ICT ministry cabinet secretary Joe Mucheru is expected to officially announce the news alongside sports ministry officials and KBC chief executive Naim Bilal, according to KBC.
Kenya multichoice TV subscribers will also be able to watch the matches on DStv and GOtv.

The Harambee Stars will take to the field on June 23 against Algeria, the first African team, in their opening match in Pool C, before later facing their neighbors, Tanzania, then Senegal.

TUKO.co.ke previously reported that Harambee Stars head coach Sebastien Migne released his latest 23-man Afcon squad that will represent the country in Egypt.
The team camped in France and played a friendly against Madagascar last Friday, registering a 1-0 victory.
