Storm Franklin wreaked havoc on airlines today as they sought to maintain their usual standards despite the poor weather.
Five flights due to arrive at Cork Airport today have been forced to divert to other destinations.
Four Ryanair flights had to divert while a KLM flight from Amsterdam had to divert to Dublin after several failed landing attempts.
Aer Lingus had better luck on Leeside as they were able to land all of their flights despite the weather conditions.
Footage of the KLM flight attempting to land earlier in the day shows the pilot getting very close to the runway before deciding to pull up again.
Cork is under a yellow weather warning until 9am tomorrow morning, so we may not have seen the last of the devastation caused by the latest storm.
Storm Franklin is the third storm in the past two days, after storms Dudley and Eunice hit our shores earlier this week.
