DXC technology selected as lead systems integrator for Western Sydney International Airport (Nancy-Bird Walton)

SYDNEY – (COMMERCIAL THREAD) – DXC Technology (NYSE: DXC), a leading global Fortune 500 technology service provider, today announced it has been selected as a Senior Systems Integrator for Western International Airport Sydney (Nancy-Bird Walton). DXC will be responsible for building the airport’s fundamental technology platforms in preparation for opening in 2026 and ongoing operations.
DXC and its Asia-Pacific Airport Strategic Partner, Chavali Consulting, will bring together DXC’s global aviation experience and Chavali’s in-depth airport expertise to deliver a comprehensive end-to-end program for providing the best airport terminal in Australia and enabling the operational success of the airport.

As Master Systems Integrator, DXC will provide the integration, cybersecurity and hosting platforms to bring together more than 60 operational systems and ensure a fast and transparent journey for customers. Understanding the importance of respecting the airport’s opening date and moving parts during construction, DXC has also included a collection of program accelerators that target rapid integration of airport systems. This includes an aeronautical test center of excellence, which DXC uses for many airport systems around the world.
With the new airport, Western Sydney is poised to become the epicenter of economic growth in New South Wales. To this end, DXC is actively working with Western Sydney University (WSU) to identify opportunities that will help students solve real-world challenges and develop work-readiness skills that will be essential in supporting the new airport and the growing region of western Sydney.
