Cabinet Secretariat hires trainee pilots, salary up to Rs 56,100

The Cabinet Secretariat of the Government of India has launched a call for applications for the recruitment of a trainee pilot (group “A” published in the Gazette). This recruitment campaign will fill six positions within the organization. The deadline to apply is April 29. Applicants should note that they should apply only in offline mode. Registration forms can be downloaded from davp.nic.in.
Cabinet Secretariat Intern Pilot Recruitment 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Age limit: Candidates who wish to apply must be between 20 and 30 years old.
Qualification for Education: Applicants must have at least 50% marks in Class 12 or equivalent with a valid Commercial Pilot License or Commercial Helicopter Pilot License from the DGCA.

2022 Cabinet Secretariat Trainee Pilot Recruitment: How to Apply?
Step 1. Go to the official website of the Cabinet Secretary
Step 2: Download the form in A-4 format. Since the form has to be completed offline, so keep your documents ready in an envelope
Step 3. Note that the application form, to be typed on A-4 size paper, should be completed in English capitals (uppercase) using only black or blue ink.
Step 4. Make sure the envelope contains the application along with the required certificates and two recent self-attested passport-sized color photographs with name and date of birth on the back. It must be clearly marked as “CANDIDATURE FOR THE POSITION OF PILOT TRAINEE”.

2022 Cabinet Secretariat Intern Pilot Recruitment: Selection Process
In the first round, candidates will be selected on the basis of their marks obtained in the subjects namely, Air Navigation, Air Regulations, Air Meteorology, General and Technical Technical Specifications in the Flight Crew License Examination (FCLE), conducted by the Central Director Examination Organization General Civil Aviation (DGCA).
FCLE marks obtained out of a maximum of 500 points in said subjects will be divided by 5 and the number obtained will be treated as a written mark out of a maximum of 100 points. The final selection will be based on the scores obtained in the FCLE, psychometric test linked to the pilot’s aptitude and interview covering 25 points.

“The applications of all eligible candidates will be ranked in order of merit according to the marks obtained in the said FCLE. Of the eligible candidates, only five times the number of vacancies will be called for interview, based on merit,” the official notice reads.

Selected candidates will receive remuneration of Rs 56,100 and allowances as per CCS Rules (RP), 2016.
