In addition to the state grant, the Bishop International Airport Authority is supporting the project with facility improvements, reduced rent and incentives for each new non-stop flight created for a total value of $ 1.9 million.
The new base operation at Flint will involve the accommodation of three Airbus A320s at Bishop, creating the potential for even more new services from the airport in the future, Sapone said.
âWe expect them to do more with their aircraft base,â he said. âThey can do more with the grassroots here. It gives them flexibility.
